Information Collection: Mamba Expeditions gathers your policy details ahead of time to streamline crisis response.
Administrative Support: Our team coordinates directly with rescue authorities and manages logistical paperwork during crises.
Financial Limitation: Mamba Expeditions covers no expenses left unpaid by your insurer; you remain fully liable for any uncovered bills.
Safety Disclaimer:
Service Limits: Aerial extraction may prove difficult or impossible depending on remote terrain and local weather.
Personal Accountability: While our staff operates strictly within regional guidelines, your safety remains entirely your own responsibility.
No compensation or refunds will be issued if a client cannot start or finish their trek or expedition due to personal circumstances, such as illness or injury. Furthermore, Mamba Expeditions holds no liability for refunds if government-issued permits are canceled due to unpredictable events like natural disasters.
Legal Compliance:
Participants must respect and follow all local laws, regulations, and cultural customs throughout the journey. The company accepts no liability for illegal acts committed by clients. If a participant breaks the law, we reserve the right to notify local law enforcement. All resulting legal and financial consequences rest entirely on the client, and the company will not offer legal aid or compensation.
On-Trip Authority:
The designated team leader or guide retains final decision-making power during the trek or expedition. Our guides are seasoned professionals whose choices always prioritize the safety and well-being of the group. Clients must comply with their directions at all times.
Interpersonal Disputes:
Should conflicts arise between participants, our staff will step in to help mediate. However, the company is not liable for any personal losses, damages, or legal issues resulting from disagreements between clients.
At Mamba Expeditions, we ensure your safety by providing highly qualified personnel. If an unexpected emergency or illness prevents your designated guide from leading your trip, we will substitute them with another professional of equal standing and experience. Please note that guide replacements do not alter the booking terms, and clients are not eligible for refunds or compensation because of a leadership change.
Mamba Expeditions builds itineraries using deep regional expertise, but real-world conditions may require us to alter your schedule.
Unpredictable Disruptions:
External factors outside our control—such as severe weather, natural crises, political instability, transit delays, or official government mandates—may force adjustments to your route or timeline. The client must cover any extra expenses resulting from these forced modifications.
Client-Driven Expenses:
The client is financially responsible for any cost overruns caused by personal delays, damaged gear, or special requests. Furthermore, any amenities not explicitly detailed in the initial package—including extended lodging, extra meals, or supplemental transport—must be paid for by the client, no matter what prompted the addition.
Requested Customizations:
If you wish to modify your itinerary before or during the journey, we will do our best to accommodate you. These voluntary changes depend entirely on logistical availability, must be approved ahead of time, and will be billed directly to the client.
Safety and Logistics First: Your safety and the smooth execution of the tour dictate all itinerary decisions. Our company and field guides hold absolute authority to make final route decisions to safeguard travelers and maintain trip integrity.
No refunds are provided for unused portions of an itinerary if a trip ends early due to weather, changing logistics, or client pacing. Should you complete your trip ahead of schedule, you will be financially responsible for any extra nights or services required.
Furthermore, if a trip is cut short for any reason—including personal choice, health concerns, or unforeseen events—the client must cover all extra expenses incurred. These charges include the logistics of adjusting your itinerary, such as arranging transportation, lodging, and the early return of guides and porters. Please note that rearranging these logistics can take 24 to 48 hours to finalize.
All travel arrangements and services managed by Mamba Expeditions are exclusively for the registered client and cannot be transferred to any other individual. Once your booking is finalized, it is locked to your name and cannot be reassigned, sold, or gifted to someone else.
This strict non-transferability applies to all components of your itinerary, including:
Flights and ground transportation
Hotel accommodations and lodging
Permits, passes, and guiding services
All other trip logistics
If you decide not to utilize a scheduled service (such as a specific night’s hotel stay or a transport link), that service is forfeited and cannot be claimed by another traveler. Furthermore, payments made by one guest cannot be redirected or applied to a third party’s itinerary.
Domestic & Company-Arranged Flights:
The company will help arrange alternative transport or lodging. Clients cover all costs unless the company is at fault for the cancellation.
International Flights:
Clients are responsible for all additional expenses and compensation. The company will assist with backup arrangements but bears no financial liability.
Clients are responsible for their own lodging and dining costs if an overnight stay becomes necessary due to travel disruptions, personal circumstances, or any other events beyond our control. However, if the delay and subsequent overnight stay are directly caused by our company, we will take care of your accommodation expenses.
Adventure travel and high-altitude trekking and expeditions frequently take you into remote areas where modern comforts do not exist. Even with the financial means to request specific amenities, the unpredictable nature of these environments means that certain expectations cannot always be fulfilled.
While Mamba Expeditions is fully committed to delivering an exceptional experience, unexpected external factors may occasionally limit our services. We value our guests’ adaptability and patience when these situations occur.
Before finalizing your trip, it is vital that you thoroughly review and understand the unique demands and constraints of your specific route. Securing your booking serves as your formal acknowledgment and acceptance of these operational realities.
The team coordinates meals through top-tier local teahouses, lodges, and hotels, backed by professional camp cooks at higher elevations. Travelers understand that remote locations restrict food choices, and meals may not always match personal tastes. The organization takes no responsibility for any resulting dietary restrictions, discomfort, or complaints. Participants must defer to their guide’s advice when choosing menu items.
Clients must return all equipment, gear, or materials supplied by the company—whether owned by Mamba Expeditions or rented from a third party—to an authorized representative immediately following the trip. Clients assume full financial liability for any damage, loss, or theft resulting from improper use or carelessness. The company will assess and charge for repairs or replacements at its sole discretion. Except where mandated by law, Mamba Expeditions accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or property damage arising from the use of supplied gear.
Participants on Mamba Expeditions trips grant the company a global, royalty-free right to utilize any trip photography or video footage for marketing, promotional and educational purposes. This applies to media captured during the tour or shared by guests. We strictly protect client privacy and will not disclose personally identifiable information without explicit, prior consent.
Nepali law restricts anyone under 16 years old from mountaineering activities. While minors may join trekking expeditions, they must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian for the entire duration of the itinerary. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to supervise the minor; the company disclaims all liability for unsupervised underage participants.
Prior written notice must be submitted to Mamba Expeditions for any ancillary activities contemplated by the Client, including but not limited to drone operations, paragliding, skiing, or the exhibition of large flags. Such activities frequently mandate specialized government permits and attract additional tariffs levied by the Government of Nepal or respective municipalities. Engaging in unapproved activities without prior declaration may constitute a violation of domestic regulations, rendering the Client exclusively liable for all resulting legal liabilities and financial penalties. Upon timely notification, the Company will facilitate the permit application process, provided always that the issuance of such permits remains at the sole discretion of the governing authorities.
To request a change to your itinerary, you must submit a written notice to Mamba Expeditions no later than 14 days before your scheduled departure. Please note that all modifications are subject to our standard change and cancellation policies.
You will be responsible for covering any non-recoverable expenses resulting from these changes. This includes, but is not limited to:
Non-refundable government permits and park fees
Pre-booked transit tickets and hotel reservations
Guide, porter, and support staff bookings
Travel insurance premiums
Furthermore, clients must cover any cancellation or amendment penalties issued by airlines or third-party service providers who booked on their behalf.
