The highest point of the Panchase trek is Panchase Peak (also known as Panchase Hill or Panchase Danda), at an elevation of approximately 2,500 meters (8,202 feet) above sea level.

The best seasons for the Panchase Trek are Autumn (September-November) for clear skies and autumn colors, and Spring (March-May) for blooming rhododendrons and lush landscapes, with both offering majestic mountain views. While accessible year-round, Summer brings monsoon rains, leeches, and clouds, and Winter can be cold, though still manageable with proper gear for stunning clear, crisp views.
The Panchase Trek is a short, cultural, and scenic trek near Pokhara, Nepal, known for panoramic Annapurna views, rhododendron forests, and Gurung villages, often done in 3-4 days, typically starting/ending near Pokhara (e.g., from Phedi/Bhumdi) and reaching Panchase Hill (2500m) for sunrise views before returning via villages like Chitre and Birethanti, offering a glimpse of authentic Nepali life away from the busier trails
Itinerary
Days 1-2:
Arrive in Kathmandu, sightseeing, and preparation. Welcome dinner with guide.
Day 3: Flight/Bus to Pokhara
Days 3 or 4: Pokhara to Bhumdi/Panchase Bhanjyang: Start with a boat ride on Phewa Lake, hike via the World Peace Stupa, and trek through forests to reach Bhumdi (1520m) or continue to Panchase Bhanjyang (2065m).
Days 4 or 5: Panchase Bhanjyang to Bhadaure: Early morning hike to Panchase Hill (2500m) for sunrise views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, and Fishtail, then trek down to Bhadaure village (1670m).
Day 5 or 6: Bhadaure to Pokhara: Enjoy more mountain views from Bhadaure, then trek to Naudanda/Phedi and take a jeep or bus back to Pokhara.
Days 5 or 6: Return back to Kathmandu or to next planned region/excursion.
