An Everest expedition itinerary spans approximately 55 to 65 days, beginning with arrival and preparation in Kathmandu, followed by a flight to Lukla and a trek through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche to reach Everest Base Camp. After setting up camp and training, the climbing period to summit Mt. Everest (8,848.86m) takes place, followed by descent and a flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Days 2-3:
Prepare for the expedition, get briefings, and arrange necessary permits and equipment in Kathmandu.
Day 4: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652m).
Day 5: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m).
Day 6: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar; you’ll hike to the Everest View Hotel. ‘
Day 7: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,850m), visiting the famous Buddhist monastery.
Day 8: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,350m).
Day 9: Acclimatization day in Dingboche, with a hike to Chhukung Ri (5,100m)
Day 10: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (5,018m).
Day 11: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m).
Day 12: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m).
Day 13-58 (approx. 45 days): Rest, training, Puja ceremony, and the climbing period itself, including rotation to higher camps (Camp I, II, III, IV) and the summit push.
