The best seasons for the Manaslu Circuit trek are Spring (March–May) for blooming rhododendrons and clear views, and Autumn (September–November) for stable weather, crisp air, and stunning peak visibility; both offer dry conditions but Autumn is the peak season with more crowds, while Winter (Dec–Feb) and Monsoon (June–Aug) are off-seasons with challenges like snow or heavy rain, though possible with experienced clients.

Manaslu (world’s 8th highest), offering stunning Himalayan views, diverse landscapes from subtropical valleys to high-altitude deserts, and unique Tibetan Buddhist culture, all while being less crowded than Annapurna or Everest, requiring special permits and guides for its restricted zone, and culminating at the high Larkya La Pass (5,106m). It’s known for its rugged, off-the-beaten-path adventure, deep gorges, suspension bridges, and ancient trails connecting Hindu villages to Tibetan-influenced communities.
Itinerary
Days 1-2:
Arrive in Kathmandu, sightseeing, and preparation. Welcome dinner with guide.
Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola.
Day 3: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat.
Day 4: Trek from Jagat to Deng.
Day 5: Trek from Deng to Namrung.
Day 6: Trek from Namrung to Lho.
Day 7: Trek from Lho to Samagaon.
Day 8: Acclimatization hike to Birendra Lake or Pungyen Gompa from Samagaon.
Day 9: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo.
Day 10: Trek from Samdo to Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi).
Day 11: Cross Larkya La Pass (5,106m) and trek down to Bimthang. (Apex of journey)
Day 12: Trek from Bimthang to Tilche or Dharapani.
Day 13: Drive from Tilche/Dharapani to Besisahar.
Day 14: Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Depart Kathmandu.
