Season:

The best seasons for climbing Lobuche Peak are Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November), offering stable weather, clear skies, and good visibility, though spring is warmer and busier, while autumn is quieter and cooler. These months avoid the monsoon and provide optimal conditions for this popular Himalayan trekking peak in the Everest region, with late spring (May) seeing warmer weather but more trekkers.

A Lobuche Peak climb itinerary typically lasts 14-20 days, combining the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek with the climb itself, involving a flight to Lukla, trekking through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche, then reaching Lobuche and Gorakshep for Kalapatthar and EBC hikes. The peak climb includes an ascent to High Camp, the summit attempt, and a descent, often followed by trekking back to Lukla and then to Kathmandu for departure.
