Number of days: ~18-22

Season:
The peak seasons for climbing Chulu East are Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November), offering stable weather, clear skies, and better climbing conditions with fewer obstructions like monsoon rain or deep winter snow, making these months ideal for clear views and manageable temperatures.

A Chulu East (6,059-6,584m) climbing itinerary typically lasts 18-22 days, starting with arrival in Kathmandu for preparations, followed by a drive to the Annapurna region villages like Besisahar or Dharapani, and trekking through Chame, Pisang, and Ngawal to Chulu East Base Camp. Days are allocated for acclimatization and climbing to the summit from High Camp, before descending and continuing the Annapurna Circuit trek over Thorung La Pass to Muktinath and the flight from Jomsom to Pokhara.
